The California Cabanas is an existing building at the historical Hotel Del Coronado that includes 97 guestrooms, guestroom corridors, a center atrium, and meeting rooms. The 1970s-era building received a complete overhaul, with special attention to creating more of an indoor-outdoor feel, particularly along the beachfront. The lower level patios have been outfitted with new pavers, seating walls, chaise lounges, and fire pits as well as new cabanas/awnings. The scope of work also included renovations to the pool deck and sun deck. All work was completed while the hotel remained in operation.
