TSA Construction Expands Due to Industry Growth

SAN DIEGOTSA Construction, a full-service general contracting company based in San Diego, welcomes two project managers and a superintendent to its team. The expansion is a result of not only the company’s growth, but also industry growth as a whole.

According to the California Labor Department, California added 74,000 construction jobs in the last year, reaching a total of 856,100 jobs—up 9.8% from February 2017.

“Over the past 35 years, I’ve had an opportunity to watch the construction industry ebb and flow and am excited to see TSA’s growth and continued contribution to the job market,” said Terry Arnett, owner and president of TSA Construction. “Our incredible team works hard to complete each project quickly and efficiently, which allows us to take on new projects, while maintaining a proven track record of repeat clients.”

TSA Construction’s three new employees are as follows:

  • Andrew Doyle, project manager: With nearly 15 years of experience, Doyle has worked on a number of projects throughout his career as both project manager and director of construction operations. He has extensive experience in apartment new construction and rehabilitation.
  • Sean Kelly, project manager: Kelly has worked on multiple projects in the construction industry, including Federal projects, over the last two decades, as both a project manager and construction manager.
  • J.R. Mansfield, superintendent: Mansfield has 12 years of experience in the field, including four years as project manager, three years as quality control manager, and eight years as superintendent.

“In total, our new team members bring TSA nearly 100 years of experience and a wide array of skillsets. Each individual will work on a number of our upcoming projects and will contribute to the growth of our company,” said Arnett.
